I watched Annie Hall a few days ago and just loved Annie's 70's style which has this great androgynous-geek-chic twist.

Those buttoned up shirts |
Annie's signature style (Annie was played by Diane Keaton, who won a Golden Globe for Best Actress for her portrayal of Annie) includes waistcoats, ties, shirts (buttoned all the way up), and always, always trousers.
